Our free Aikido taster sessions are open to all sixth form, college and university students in Cardiff and the surrounding area.
Whether you’re looking for a way to stay active, manage stress, or just try a new activity, this is the perfect way to give Aikido a go!

👩🏻🤝🧑🏼 All students aged 16 and over
👕👖 No special kit required. Just wear an old t-shirt or jumper and sweatpants.
📜 No need to register, just come along (bring a friend if you like) and join in!
// About Aikido //
Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that teaches you to move with balance and control, using skill instead of strength.
Aikido techniques are non-destructive and redirect an opponent's energy rather than fighting with them.
Aikido is cooperative, not competitive. You will learn practical self-defence skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Aikido training helps build confidence, focus, and discipline - useful skills for study and everyday life.
